The consumer is considered an essential element to move the market, but he is the weak party in his contractual relationship with the professional, considering that consumption contracts are classified as acquiescence contracts, so the Algerian legislature has granted him special protection through some bodies that ensure the protection of his economic interest. Consumer protection associations are one of the most prominent bodies that seek consumer protection through the preventive role they play in practicing this tribal protection, in addition to their defensive role represented in the dimensional protection that these associations provide to consumers in order to protect them from the arbitrariness of some professionals.
