Abstract

It is self-evident that philosophy constitutes the original intellectual matrix from which the various branches of knowledge and sciences emerged. Psychology, with its broad and specialized fields of inquiry, was historically embedded within philosophical studies. Accordingly, this study seeks to examine the relationship between philosophy and psychology through an interdisciplinary approach, bringing together our respective areas of specialization. This work represents an attempt to shed light on the fundamental principles that underpin the formation of an integrated system of knowledge.
