This study examines the phenomenon of bullying within the school environment, with particular emphasis on cyberbullying, which is considered one of the most detrimental issues affecting individuals’ psychological well-being, social and academic adjustment, psychological compatibility, and levels of self-esteem. The study seeks to explore in depth the primary causes and underlying motivations that lead individuals to adopt such socially undesirable behavior. To achieve this objective, the descriptive method was employed, as it allows for a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon from multiple dimensions and facilitates an in-depth investigation of its causes, driving factors, and the most effective strategies for mitigating and reducing its negative impacts on both individuals and society. The findings reveal that the causes and motivations behind this phenomenon are primarily attributed to individual personality traits, personal beliefs, and socialization processes, which are strongly shaped by the surrounding environment, particularly the family, extended kinship structures, and the educational institution to which the individual belongs.
