Abstract

Economic necessities prompted the Algerian legislator to intervene through Law 15-20 by making a series of amendments that fundamentally affected the substantive conditions for establishing the limited liability company exclusively. The aim was to provide a degree of flexibility to encourage the creation of this type of small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly by abolishing the minimum capital requirement for its establishment and introducing the industrial contribution. The amended and newly introduced provisions in the recent amendment paid special attention to the partners, granting them excessive facilitation at the expense of the guarantees for third parties dealing with the company.
