Abstract
The study aims to identify the role played by the physical education and sports class in reducing school violence among middle school students in Chlef. The study was conducted on a sample that included fourth-year average students who practiced the physical education and sports class at the level of all middle schools in the municipality of Chlef, numbering 519 students distributed over 5 average schools, and to collect data for the study and verify its objectives, the descriptive approach was used, using a questionnaire tool and distributing it to middle school students. After collecting and studying the data using frequencies and percentages, it was concluded that physical education and sports have an effective role in reducing school violence among middle school students
