AJESS (Academic Journal of Education and Social Sciences) is committed to promoting transparency and accessibility in scientific knowledge. In line with this commitment, the journal operates under an open-access model and applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover editorial and publishing costs associated with accepted manuscripts.

  1. Article Submission and Evaluation
  • Article Submission: Authors can submit articles to the journal without any charge. The submission process is completely free of cost.
  • Article Evaluation: AJESS applies a double-blind peer review system, and the article evaluation process is entirely free. Authors do not incur any charges for peer review or editorial services.
  • Publication Process and Fee: After an article is accepted, the publication process (editing, formatting, typesetting, and online publication) requires payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 40 USD.
  • Payment Timing: The APC is charged only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. No fees are charged during the peer review process, and rejected manuscripts are not subject to any charges.
  1. No Additional Charges for Fast Track or Priority Publication
  • AJESS does not offer fast track or priority publication services. There are no additional charges for expedited processing.
  • All articles undergo the journal's standard review process, and no additional fees are charged beyond the standard APC after acceptance.
  1. Journal Financing and Sustainability
  • Funding: AJESS sustains its open-access model through Article Processing Charges (APC), academic support, sponsorships, and donations from various external sources.
  • Donations and Sponsorships: The journal may receive financial support from domestic and international academic institutions and sponsors. These funds are used to cover operational costs and maintain the sustainability of the journal.
  • Supporting Institutions: AJESS collaborates with academic institutions, universities, and research centers to ensure the sustainability of its publishing and research development processes.
  1. Reader Access
  • Free Access: AJESS provides free and immediate access to all published articles. There are no subscription or access fees for readers.
  • Open Access and License: All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Payment of the Article Processing Charge does not affect the licensing terms.
  1. No Fees for Other Services
  • Content Sharing: AJESS does not charge any fees for sharing or reusing content. Researchers and readers may use the articles provided that proper attribution to the author is given.
  • Data Sharing: Authors are encouraged to share research data, datasets, and findings related to the article in public data repositories. No fees are associated with such sharing.
